This department aims to deliver financial reports on industries and/or specific financial products along with a sentiment analysis and an investing recommendation. Moreover it creates and balances portfolios that caters to the association’s needs LIS needs in collaboration with other departments.
Having conducted a detailed analysis and valuation, research which may lead to a good long-term investing opportunity is presented to the committee in charge of overseeing the department. To integrate this opportunity in one of the portfolios requires the use of certain programs like Python, R and SQL, simplifying the method of calculating weights, back testing, multiples valuation and much more.
